Figures released today by the Iraqi Office of National Statistics show that Iraqis are the only people in the world LESS likely to be killed crossing the road than by a bomb or other terrorist act. A government spokesperson commented, "This is shocking news indeed. However, we are acting to reverse the trend by asking people all over the country to make a special effort in coming months to cross the road more frequently, even when it is not really necessary."
